Resilience

Our inaugural program, RESILIENCE, debuted in the fall of 2015.  Through the collaboration and generosity of the Sacramento community, we raised $12,000 for cancer research and supported those displaced and in need of housing near the UC Davis Medical Center.  Cancer has touched the lives of almost everyone.  We all have a family member, friend, co-worker or loved one that has been afflicted with this disease.  With continued support of programs that fight to find the cure, it is our hope that tomorrow will be brighter.

The UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center, nationally known as a leader in cancer research care and education, tirelessly works toward finding a cure and better treatments for this unrelenting disease.  Sacramento Contemporary Dance Theatre's concert RESILIENCE celebrates life as we struggle to overcome, rise, and ultimately honor the battle against cancer and how it affects patients and their loved ones.
