Alexis Powell

Alexis Powell has been dancing since the age of four, with dance serving as both a lifelong passion and a central part of her life. Over the years, she has trained in various styles, but contemporary dance has always held a special place in her heart. This year, she is thrilled to join the Sacramento Contemporary Dance Theater for the first time. Being part of this incredible group has been an amazing experience, and she feels honored to perform alongside such talented and dedicated dancers.

Throughout her dance journey, Alexis has had the privilege of learning from remarkable teachers and choreographers who have helped shape her into the dancer she is today. Their guidance has instilled in her a strong work ethic, a deep love for the art form, and an appreciation for the power of movement as a means of expression.
