Having been dancing under the instruction of Jacob Gutierrez-Montoya since adolescence, Abbey is happy to be working with Jacob and SCDT again for her second season. Devoted to community outreach, Abbey spends her time outside SCDT working for local non-profits that help our underserved and unhoused communities. She passionately writes grants for B Street Theatre, a long-time and deeply valued partner of Sacramento Dance Theatre (SCDT), fostering creativity and collaboration within our vibrant community.

With SCDT, she traveled internationally to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2024 where she performed in the company’s debut of The Crucible. Abbey loves her two cats Madeline and Lydia and her spin family at TeamRide.
